Kate Hughes – Associate Account Executive

Kate Hughes is eager to learn and try new things. She has a background in writing, design, and strategy, and she’s known to be prepped and ready to enter unknown territory in the PR world. She began her post-grad internship with Firmani + Associates in 2024 with hopes of adding to her PR toolkit, and has earned her way to the associate account executive position.

Kate is fine-tuning her skills and adding to her communications toolkit by engaging in robust client work, including developing content for earned and shared media activities, conducting research and reporting vital to planning and decision-making, and more.

Though she was born and raised in Nevada, Kate considers Michigan home. She attended Northern Michigan University and holds a B.S. in Public Relations, and she is pursuing an M.S. in Integrated Marketing Communications at West Virginia University. After graduating in 2024, life led her back to the West, where she currently resides in Boise, Idaho.

When Kate’s away from the office, she enjoys exploring new spots in Boise’s downtown, traveling, hiking, reading, and spending time with her family and cat.
